Because of the several destructions by the wars, most of the buildings in Longhua Temple were reconstructed during the reign of the Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty.
The pagoda was built for the first time in 247 A.D. and was undergone a reconstruction in the second year of the Tai Ping Xing Guo period of the Song Dinasty (A.D. 977).
The Longhua Pagoda has been rebuilt several times, but the style of the Song Dynasty still remains to today.
