Information data : University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: bo02-002. Photo from an album (UoB reference bo02) kept at the Royal Society for Asian Affairs, London (RSAA reference RSAA/SC/BOW/2). A group of young Chinese men, five of whom are in naval style uniform (Some of the words on their hats may be: COMMISSIONER OF). All these men are most likely Customs staff, presumably at Ningbo.
