The inscription reads: "IN MEMORIUM GEORGIANA THE BELOVED WIFE OF WILLIAM PITCAIRN GALTON DIED 20(?) JUNE 1895 ALSO MABEL MARY ELDEST DAUGHTER OF THE ABOVE DIED 25 JUNE 1895"
