Information data : Henry Burgevine (note spelling) was an officer in F.T. Ward's Ever-Victorious Army, serving the Chinese government in its war with the Taiping. He briefly commanded the Army after Ward was killed in action. He fell out with his Chinese superiors, defected to the Taiping, was captured and killed.
