Hedgeland provided no caption for this photo. However, a newspaper cutting from the London 'Evening Standard', dated 23 September 1935, pasted next to it in the album, entitled 'River Death Riddle of a Davis Cup Captain' strongly suggests that the photo is of Mr Wing Lock-Wei and his bride. Wing Lock-Wei captained the Chinese Davis Cup teams in 1924, 1927 and 1930. He died in New York, September 1935.
