Information data : This is the entrance of the Chartered Bank on 18 Bund. On the sign placed on the sandbags, once can read "BUSINESS AS USUAL". The buildings located along the Bund placed sandbags on their doors and windows to avoid possible collateral damage from bomb blasts. Fighting was taking place for a while very close on the Huangpu River.
