Information data : On August 14, a Chinese warplane accidentally dropped a bomb near the corner of Nanking road and the Bund, hitting the Sincere Department Store. Another bomb had also been dropped at the Corner of Foochow and Thibet Roads, killing and wounding thousands of civilians. The press that reported on this event gave it the name of "Bloody Saturday".
